 I love...L O V E my new telephoto lens for my Canon Rebel XT. Yeah, it is not the most expensive. And the optics aren't top of the line.  But the quality for the price point is money well spent. I'd recommend a Tamron lens to anyone looking to expand their photographing tool without draining their bank account on a steep investment. I picked up a 70mm-300mm Telephoto/Macro especially for my trip to Columbus, Ohio. For the Buckeyes home opener.  And what a perfect day for a game. Not a cloud in the sky, the humidity was practically non-existent. And there was a constant mild-breeze. The game, well that was a special event.
